Your Data, Your Call
Virtual Card Compare helps you weigh virtual credit cards and payment tools. To do that well, we need to know a little about how you use this site. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.
What We Track and Why
We use cookies and analytics tools. These let us see which cards you click, which pages you linger on, and which offers catch your eye. That information helps us rank products honestly and keep the site fast. We don't sell your personal data to anyone. We don't build a profile for advertisers. What we learn, we use to improve this site for you.
Affiliate Commissions, Explained
When you click a card offer and apply, we may earn a commission from the issuer. That payment never changes the price you pay, and it never forces a card to the top of our rankings. Our methodology is based on fees, rewards, approval odds, and user reviews—not on who pays us.
Your Age and Spending Control
This site is for adults 18 and older. If you're under 18, please leave and come back later. We also care about responsible spending. If you ever feel like your card use is slipping out of control, we point to free resources like the National Foundation for Credit Counseling and other non-profit budget tools. You can find those links in our footer and on individual card pages.
How Long We Keep Things
Analytics data is kept in a form that doesn't identify you directly. We retain it only as long as needed to measure site performance and compare product trends. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
Contact and Control
You can turn off cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so won't break the site, but it may make our comparisons less personalized. For questions, to request a copy of your data, or to ask us to delete what we hold, email us at privacy@virtualcardcompare.com. We typically reply within three business days.
We may update this page if our tools or partners change. When we do, we'll note the date at the top. Your continued use of the site after that means you're okay with the updated terms.
That's it. No fine print games, no hidden vaults. Just a clear view of how we work.
